I rewatched Pacific Rim the other day and I'm having so many feelings again. I am so grateful a movie like this exists. Can the sequel and animated series be out already, please?

This piece is just Chuck looking pretty and resolute, but I am a bit surprised how it turned out (you know, the kind of where you look at your drawing hand and ask 'where did that come from, I had no idea you were able to do that??').

Actually I was playing around with a certain brush and I like how it looks. Made one more thing.

They are totally a thing. 

IDK, I thought about my own lab experiences and glove people were a thing among students. At least there always was one to make them when they were bored during practical courses.

Alone

So according to the Pacific Rim Director's notebook Raleigh is most happy when he's alone, listening to music or sitting on a bench by himself. Just. I want to drown in feelings.

And with these I end this series. I've run out of ideas for poses and backgrounds. But it was fun.
I saw a sweater with star patches on the ellbows and thought this is something Newt could wear.

Had some more ideas for fancy clothes.
And everything was just freehand drawing, so no straight lines, ha ha. :'D

Casual wear

Just some experiments in style. I missed going the messy way.

I think Max found a dead bird in the Shatterdome and couldn't help rolling around in it, but there had to be consequences. I hope he learns from it.

Okay, to be honest, I think it would be quite easy to confuse them. It happened to me in the beginning the first time I watched the movie. *_*"
Such happenings would make Chuck hate on Raleigh even more since his idols' downfall and stuff.

One time Chuck tried to apologize out loud, but the thing about drifting together is knowing the thoughts of your partner.

Summer

There was a post on tumblr  about Chuck and I thought hey, why not.

Ugh, stupid boys and their stupid love for their pets. Chuck Hansen may be an ass to everyone else, but he does dote on his dog.

Saw Pacific Rim and then there had to be fanart.
Recently, I don't feel like drawing at all, so I'm happy to have drawn something. Though it has tonnes of mistakes and I guess you wouldn't recognise Chuck if not for the dog and text. :'D
