Fireworks

The most recent opening to Gintama makes me sad because while every one is having fun at the festival Sacchan is watching the fireworks all alone. Who is responsible for this
So after watching it for weeks now I couldn't bear the sight any longer.

Probably Zenzou is late because he just finished his part-time job. û_u

Redheads

A thing I should do more often is to draw SanSan, but somehow I always feel like I never get them right. The hand symbolism thing with Sandor is based on a dream I had during a fever.

Some love for House Tully with a young Cat, and Lysa and Sweetrobin (I did that one as a birthday present for a friend). Seeing them all in one post, I kinda feel like I have a preferred colour palette. Hmmm. 

More Bioware

The last post here is a bit old. Oops. In the meantime I finished DA2, and the Mass Effect triology. ME was sooo good, I'm really happy that I have played it.

Next to Merrill I fell in love with Aveline, but somehow I'm not able to draw her properly. So there was some frustration about that. I am sorry, Aveline. ;_; The friendship between her and Isabela was also one of my favourite things in the game.

I did the fish tank picture somewhat during ME2, when the effects of everything started to show on Shepard and I just wanted him to have a calm moment. Fish tanks seem to be perfect for that.

I'll keep this place safe

Currently I'm playing some Bioware games (better late than never, right), and I got to Mass Effect now. At first I was a bit 'meh' towards the game, but as I got warm with it I fell in love with paragon!Shep. He is such a fascinating and believable good hero. ;_;♥
Now I'm looking forward to the other games.

He takes his research for the Wasteland Survival Guide very seriously. And I had to do a little thing of the stitches in smiley shape that Moira claims to have done.

Fallout 3

Another miracle happened and even Fallout 3 is running again. I am SO happy!
On my previous journeys I never thought of it (also my drawing skills were not as good back then), but this time I have fun drawing my Lone Wanderer and his adventures.
My current baby is named Grenn. He’s a bit naive and too kind-hearted for his own good (and the Wasteland), but never shies away from offering a helping hand. A scientist just like his dad, and strong as a bear. (Name and any outward similarities to a certain character are totally intentional. *coughs*)
Once, he let Butch talk him into using his hair for practice and he ended up liking the result. At the tender age of 19 he managed to grow a magnificent beard.

Distractions

I started DA2 recently and fell in love with Merrill. Actually with all characters, but she is the most adorable ever. The stories about her getting lost are precious. But an important question is, where does she even find nail polish?

Lazy afternoon

I discovered that AC1 miraculously does not crash (as it did for the longest time??) on my computer anymore so I took the opportunity to replay it and this comes with a new wave of feels. I love the story and the characters a lot. ♥ Altair's change of heart and growth as a person, and the constant seek for and doubt of truth make this game special and beautiful to me.
I ship both Altair x Malik and Altair x Maria, as you can see. The comic thing happened after browsing through The Secret Crusade and snickering about love struck Altair and his journal.

Hansen feels

The fate of the world weights down on my shoulders but I’m not slowing down.

I rewatched Pacific Rim the other day and I'm having so many feelings again. I am so grateful a movie like this exists. Can the sequel and animated series be out already, please?

This piece is just Chuck looking pretty and resolute, but I am a bit surprised how it turned out (you know, the kind of where you look at your drawing hand and ask 'where did that come from, I had no idea you were able to do that??'). 

Welcome home

I have some art that I did in december but didn't post here yet, so here we go. Most of it was sketchy because I was working on some bigger things.

For this one I used a certain song again just because to me it's my personal Theon Greyjoy song. I'm guilty of overusing the drowning symbolism with him. :')

Remember the time when I said that I should draw more SanSan? This is one of the rare occassions I actually did. The ladies next to them are Rohanne Webber and Lollys Stokeworth.

Also two even messier things I used for some experiments, but gave up on. In the initial stages the anatomy is not my focus.

UGH their story is just so heartbreaking. Thanks game for another pair of minor characters with no happy end. Somehow I ended up shipping them now because I have so many feelings for them. ;_;♥
The fanart was very straining to draw because I wanted to have nice lineart and it took forever because they have 35346577624 details in their clothing and I have no idea how to work time efficiently. Now kiss.

Day at the beach

I'm in summer pics mode now, so I naturally I would draw holidays at Costa del Sol. Cloud technically owns a house there, so it would be nice if he would spend some nice days there with the kids and Tifa. ♥

Rescue

Lately, I feel a large shift in my art style. I don't know if this is the direction I want to end up but for now it's a lot of fun to play around. The exercise and the things I will learn from it will be valuable though.

I've mentionend it before, I love Sandor x Sansa as a ship, but I rarely get around to do something for them. So I'm happy that I finished this.

And I played around some more. Many fancasts and fanarts for Arianne don't make me happy because they hardly follow the book descriptions, so I tried a thing myself. Plus a quick modern Sansa.

Sweater Starks

I started this as something messy to try some things out but this turned into this series because sweaters are cute and I always wanted to draw all the Starklings and their wolves.

You know, Arya and Bran shared a close bond and their memories of times spent together are the cutest. And I'm pretty sure they stole the occasional lemon cake.

I also really wanted to draw Ned x Cat for a long time already, so here we are. Ygritte is also very dear to me and I wanted to try her based more on book descriptions.
